Did you know an inventory of your loved one’s possessions will be made while they stay in skilled nursing?
Creating the Inventory
When your loved one checks in, a member of the nursing staff will create an inventory log of the belongings in their possession.
This can help ensure your loved one leaves the facility with all their possessions.
After their inventory log has been made, anything that you or friends bring to your loved one must be added to the inventory.
Note: the facility doesn’t have any liability for items that aren’t added to the inventory.
Checking Out
When your loved one is discharged from skilled nursing, the inventory log will be used to ensure they have all of their belongings.
Making sure your loved one regularly updates their inventory log can help ensure they keep track of their belongings!
